Friends of High Park Zoo (FHPZ) was formed in 2012 to raise the necessary funds to ensure that the Zoo remained open in the wake of City budget cuts for the 2012 and 2013 operating years.

Llamas Bare it All for your Next Visit!
Spring is in the air. The cherry blossoms and tulips are blooming. The ice cream shops are reopening, and the good people of Toronto are out and about enjoying the sunshine, and basking in the sun at their local parks. It also means putting away our winter coats and sweaters.
For the llamas at High Park Zoo, it means putting away their winter coats too. Their furry coats that is. Recently, the zookeepers sheared all the llamas, so they can stay cool in the warmer weather. We think they are pretty happy with their new "dos."
Come and visit the newly shorn llamas.
Introducing Molly McMoo
We've got a new Highland calf at the Zoo. After a very active naming context, her name is Molly McMoo. Thanks to everyone who helped name our new zoo baby.
Starting May 1, 2025, FHPZ is offering both games for 'what you can afford'! The games can be played anytime and are a great activity for anyone.
