We’re planning a face lift!

In order to plan improvements to the Zoo and ensure it will continue to be an important part of our community for years to come, Friends of High Park Zoo, in collaboration with the City of Toronto and industry professionals, is developing a High Park Zoo Master Plan. This plan will guide our projects and capital improvements for years to come.

As part of this process, we want members of the public to share their ideas and visions for High Park Zoo. We will gather input on immediate and long-term goals for the zoo, specifically onB improving the visitor experience, enhancing educational opportunities, increasingB accessibility and any suggestions for specific projects that would make the zoo a better place for people and our animalB residents.

One of North America’s oldest zoos, High Park Zoo, is planning a face lift and we want you to be a part of it.

For over 120 years, the free admission High Park Zoo has been one of the jewels of Toronto. As part of the development of a new Master Plan for High Park Zoo, Friends of High Park Zoo, in collaboration with the City of Toronto, invite members of the public to share their ideas and visions for High Park Zoo.

The Final Public Meeting focused on presenting the final Master Plan Concept. The Master Plan Concept is the result of input and consultation with the public, government stakeholders and industry experts. It represents a vision for improving the visitor experience,B enhancing educational opportunities, increasing accessibility, operations and making the zoo a better place for people and its animal residents.

The public meeting focused on gathering input from the public on immediate and long-term goals for the Zoo.

Everyone is welcome to attend especially children and youth.
